All persons seriously considered for appointment are interviewed by a senior university representative, normally a dean, departmental chair, and/or members of the search committee either in person or by video conference. However, decisions on faculty appointments are made in MUST after a careful review of the candidate’s qualifications and references with respect to the needs of the university.
Faculty salary and rank are based on qualifications and professional experience. All faculty members receive generous benefits, from MUST tuition to access to research funding. Expatriate faculty members also receive relocation benefits, including annual home leave and tuition assistance for school-age children.
