Dear Parent,
These guidelines are especially for you.  Please read carefully.

1 - All instructions and safety rules set by the school are mandatory.

2 - Visitors must enter the school through the reception desk where they are directed to their destination.

3 – Visitors are allowed to enter the school only after showing their identification cards and registering their personal data.

4 – Parents are not permitted to enter the classrooms for any reason, unless having a prior permit.

5 – Parents should regard teachers in a respectable manner, both physically and verbally.

6 – Parents should follow up on their children's progress through teachers, after setting an appointment either through sending a letter/email or a phone call.

7 – All students should attend school with clean and proper clothes, as well as maintaining self hygiene.

8 – All girls should have their hair well groomed and preferably tied up.

9 – Parents will be notified in cases of breaking any of the previous rules (7, 8),

10 – No jewelry allowed in school, only stud earrings for girls.

11 – Mobile phones are allowed to be used during school hours.  They are only allowed in the bus.

12 – Students are not allowed to bring electronic games to school.  Should this occur, the school will confiscate the item until parents retrieve it.

13 – If a student damages any of the school's property, the school administration will ask the parents for compensation.

14 – No glassware appliances are allowed to be sent with students, especially in primary years.

15 – If a student takes any item that doesn't belong to him; parents should be keen on returning it accompanied with a letter identifying the item to the class teacher.

16 – All students must have name tags sown on their clothes till Primary III.

17 – In case of student absence, parents should phone and notify the administration giving the reason of absence within the first hour of the school day.

18 – If absent, the student must submit on the first day of attendance to the class teacher, a letter from the parent stating the reason and the number of days of absence.

19 – There will be a regular medical check-up for the students by the school doctor.

20 – If medication is required during the school day for any given period, parents must notify the class teacher and submit a copy of the doctor’s prescription.

21 –Parents must inform the school administration of any chronic illness diagnosed in the past or future.

22 – If the student shows symptoms of increased body temperature before going to school or develops any symptoms of an infectious disease, parents should keep him/her at home and inform the school.

24 – During the school day, if any student is found ill, the school administration will ask the parents or the emergency contact person to come in and pick up the child.

25 – The school administration will keep the student’s health interest as first priority.  Should an emergency case happen where hospitalization of a student is needed, the school will take action while trying to contact the parent.

26 – Certain procedures must be taken before arranging a birthday party for a student at school:

•  The matter should be first discussed with the class teacher.
•  If the timing should not be convenient according to the class schedule, another date could be set.
•  Only one cake should be enough for the occasion.
•  Presents/gifts are not allowed.
•  Only the parents of the birthday child and immediate grandparents are allowed to attend. (no additional family members)

27 – Lost items should be located in the Lost and Found Room.  Should the parents or the students claim a lost item, an exact description of the item must be given.  The room is only open on certain hours every school day.
We appreciate your cooperation.  We are looking forward to a smooth and successful school experience.
We regard home, school and community as ONE!  Let’s make a difference together!

Sincerely,
School Administration
